Geting Started

  • Head over to the play store or iOS store and search for glii. You can also find the download link on the footer of our website or home page.

  • Glii requires that all users verify their accounts with a mobile phone number or email ID. We have this requirement in place to ensure the safety and security of your account. You can also sign up using snapchat or Facebook.

    After signing up. The application:

    o Will prompt for selfie verification (Can be skipped for later)

    o Obtain your name

    o Prompt you to fill in your bio (Can be skipped for later)

    o Obtain your orientation and pronouns

    o Obtain other details required for the application to suggest matches

    o Reach dashboard and start swiping!

  • To edit your profile information including photos or your bio; Tap on the pencil icon on your photo on the dashboard.

  • Upon signing up, the application will use your location details with permission.

    Furthermore, you can go to edit profile option and access to enter location manually.

  • Go to your dashboard and tap on the preferences icon. Manage who you would like to see. Some part of this feature is only available for premium users.

  • Yes! We're proud to offer the regular version of Glii absolutely free. You can download the app for iOS or Android and start using it right away.

    To access advance features you can choose to upgrade to specific premium features that mean more to you or upgrade completely to gain full access.

  • Blind mode is a unique feature available only on Glii dating app. This app blurs your images and some of your responses on your profile. This allows each user some mystery and match with you through date posting or guessing your interests.

  • Users in Glii can directly book restaurants through the app. Tap on the coffee mug icon on your chat to choose amongst an array of restaurants in the city and book a date with your match.

Safety, Security and Privacy

  • Our primary concern is protecting your data. Cookies are small files that are downloaded on your device when you use the app and website. Cookies may also have information about your device, user settings, browsing history, or activity.

    You can choose to deny consent, rest assured any collected data is for optimising your experience on the application and will not be used otherwise.

  • Go to settings. Click deactivate account.

  • Go to settings. Click delete account.

    This feature will permanently delete your profile. To reuse the app, you will have to create an account again.

  • You can add an emergency contact as part of this feature. In case of any trouble, activating this would send an alert to this contact and lead you to safety.

  • You can access ‘Report’ in the person’s profile. Choose the correct option and/or elaborate details. You can also mail your concern to support@glii.in

  • Glii at this point does not have a contact number, however our support team assures resolution within 24 hours.

Support

  • If you don't receive a validation code after entering your mobile phone number, it may be due to one of the following reasons:

    o You entered an incorrect number.

    o Your mobile carrier is currently blocking some or all text messages and SMS Short Codes.

    o You are using a Google Voice number or another secondary messaging service.

    o You are using a prepaid phone plan.

  • What you can do:

    o Make sure you're using the latest version of Glii, make sure you’ve entered your phone number correctly, and try again.

    o If you've experienced a lock out after a series of failed attempts, you will need to wait 24 hours to reattempt. We are unable to manually override this lock.

  • If you’re having trouble logging in and seeing an error message the issue may be temporary so please try again at a later time.

  • Recently, users on several different platforms, including Glii, have reported problems linking their accounts to Instagram. We're working with Instagram to attempt to solve the problem.

    In the meantime, please try these troubleshooting steps:

    1. Attempt to connect to Instagram from within your account

    2. Force close the app

    3. Open the app and attempt to connect Instagram again

    4. You should be prompted to "Authorize"

    5. Tap “Authorize”

    6. Your Instagram account should now be connected.

  • Currently Glii does not allow its user to change their phone number.

  • If you're having trouble uploading a photo from Facebook, make sure your photos are in a public album or at least visible to your friends (not only you). You may also try moving the picture into a different album on Facebook. If you're having trouble uploading a photo from your phone, make sure you've allowed Glii access to your phone's photo album. If you denied Glii access to your photos, go to your phone’s settings, find Glii, and enable photo access. If the issue persists, please feel free to contact our Support team!
